Title of Job : Mechanical / HVAC Engineer II
Position Description :
Applies knowledge of mechanical / HVAC design, analysis, and manufacturing processes while working on a variety of projects, from concept development to final product implementation, ensuring high-quality and efficient solutions.
Reports to :
Director of Walk In engineering
Major Areas of Responsibility :
Using CAD software to generate project parts, assemblies, and designs.
Perform thermal load calculations.
Generate refrigeration system designs.
Perform moisture load calculations.
Generate humidification / dehumidification system designs.
Build project submittals.
Primary Objectives :
Working with the Engineering Manager, along with the QC and Production departments, to resolve fabrication issues and assist in the development of best practices / procedures.
Working independently and with engineers / project managers to provide outstanding customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements :
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Collaborate remotely with colleagues in other offices.
Periodically able to travel to customer sites.
Ability to follow directions, learn quickly, and retain information once taught.
Time management skills to meet hard deadlines
Education and Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
Years of experience : 3+ years
Proficiency in CAD software.
Other requirements : Strong MS Office knowledge
