We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Superintendent to join our fast-paced team in the Construction industry.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional who is well-versed in the realm of commercial, healthcare, industrial, and municipal construction.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, including subcontractor management and construction management.

This position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent or a similar role in the construction industry.

Responsibilities :

As a Permanent Superintendent, your core duties will include :

1. Overseeing day-to-day operations on the construction site, ensuring all work is carried out safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

2. Coordinating and supervising the work of all subcontractors, ensuring they understand and adhere to project plans, specifications, and safety protocols.

3. Regularly inspecting construction sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety or sanitation standards.

4. Liaising with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and local authorities, to ensure all parties are informed of project progress and any issues that arise.

5. Developing and implementing detailed project schedules and communicating these to all relevant parties.

6. Managing the procurement and delivery of materials, ensuring they arrive on time and within budget.

7. Resolving any on-site issues or disputes quickly and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to the construction process.

8. Ensuring all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

9. Implementing and enforcing strict health and safety protocols, ensuring all workers and visitors to the site are aware of these and adhere to them at all times.

Qualifications :

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications :

1. A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role within the Construction industry.

2. Proven experience in commercial, healthcare, industrial, and municipal construction.

3. Strong knowledge of construction management and subcontractor management.

4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team to meet project goals.

5. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve on-site issues quickly and efficiently.

6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and local authorities.

7. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

8. A strong commitment to health and safety, with proven experience implementing and enforcing strict health and safety protocols on construction sites.

9. Relevant qualifications in a construction-related field would be advantageous.

10. Must be proficient in the use of construction management software and other relevant computer applications.
