Job Description AECOM is seeking a Principal Water Resources Engineer in San Diego, California to focus on a wide variety of water resources projects including dams, reservoirs, levees, canals, tunnels, pipelines, flood protection systems, and conveyance facilities.

Job Responsibilities : + Coordinates and provides technical expertise for mid- large-size projects. + Leads technical client relationships and plays a major role in selling.

  • Leads discipline department efforts to grow technical expertise. + Leads technical business development work. + Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
  • Approves and signs off on work. + Leader in one or more areas of technology. + Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule a to meet requirements on large, complex projects.

Qualifications Minimum Requirements : + Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education Preferred Qualifications : + 20+ years of relevant civil / geotechnical engineering experience + Experience performing civil / geotechnical design for water resources projects + Project management experience + Active California PE License or Geotechnical GE License Additional Information Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
