Discover your #H2Opportunity Job Description AECOM is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to be based out of our Sacramento, California office to focus on a variety of work related to : dams, levees, floodplain modeling and mapping studies, municipal water resources projects, and stream restoration design.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to : + Hydrologic and Hydraulic (H&H) modeling using various software programs + Water resources design using Autodesk Civil3D + Preparing and reviewing working drawings, plans, cost estimates, studies, reports, and other work products + Performing independent tasks, reviewing technical work of others;

mentoring and training junior level staff + Writing technical reports and memoranda Qualifications Minimum Requirements : + Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education + Professional Engineering (PE) license in California or the ability to obtain one within first 6 months of employment Preferred Qualifications : + Eight or more years of relevant water resource related experience + Experience and familiarity with the following programs : HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS 1D / 2D, SRH-2D, xpSWMM, HydroCAD, ArcGIS, CADD Additional Information #LI-EM1 Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
