In this role you’ll have the opportunity to work on flood protection and design of a new off-stream storage dam in Northern California.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to : + Providing technical support to water infrastructure projects including : design, analysis, inspection, construction observation, and regulatory compliance activities.

  • Development of plans, specifications, and construction estimates. + Lead technical design teams for analysis of Water resources infrastructure (dams, reservoirs, levees, canals, tunnels, pipelines, flood protection systems, and conveyance facilities) projects.
  • Preparation of technical reports, memos, and engineering design and construction related documents. Qualifications Minimum Requirements : + Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education + California Professional Engineer’s (PE) license + Experience with Caltrans or other DOT transportation projects Preferred Qualifications : + 10-12 years of civil engineering experience related to water and / or transportation projects + Master’s degree in civil engineering + Experience with CADD i.

e. Civil 3D and Microstation Open Roads + Experience with HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HY-8 modeling software preferred Additional Information Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
