ATTENTION : The Director of Operations job posting is a REGIONAL position. Direct reports will span across IOWA AND NEBRASKA.

Must be willing to travel to all Circle City ABA locations within Iowa and Nebraska.

Job Summary : Directly reports to the Executive Director of Operations and is responsible for all elements of the operation of the services in the assigned region;

for attention to the health and welfare of the people served; for the implementation of fiscal, therapeutic, and programmatic procedures to ensure compliance with applicable governmental regulations in assigned region.

Key Areas of Accountability

  • Operational Management :
  • Ensure the development and execution of timely tactics designed to promote the accomplishment of desired results and address priority operational issues in the areas of compliance, program services, and financial oversight.
  • Provide on-site support and technical assistance to local offices focusing on monitoring programmatic services through on-site visits, reviewing reports, and consultation with staff.
  • Evaluate need and recommend opportunities for business development and expansion in the assigned region.
  • Serve as an interim director during periods of vacancy or prolonged absence.
  • Corporate Business Development :
  • Responsible for working with the Executive Director of Operations of Circle City ABA in developing and executing a strategic plan that maps out growth opportunities within the region.
  • Operational :
  • Responsible for understanding the operational objectives of the assigned area.
  • Responsible for understanding the operational objectives and current operations as well as developing ideas on how to improve those operational objectives.
  • Responsible for the direct recruiting, hiring, training, and lifecycle of Center Operations Directors in assigned areas.
  • Reporting and Record Keeping :
  • Responsible for providing reports on an as-needed basis.

Requirements

Minimum Job Qualifications :

  • Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field.
  • Work Experience : 3 years of related experience.
  • Working Conditions : Work is performed in a variety of environments (Home Office, Hotels, offices, etc.) that are consistent with traveling throughout the region as a major portion of this position.

Extended, overnight travel is estimated to be 50% of the position. Driving is required, so individuals must have a valid driver’s license and meet the organization’s driver insurability requirements.

The work also requires frequent walking, sitting, standing, bending, and stooping. In addition, they must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of the organization, such as being able to push, pull, move, and / or lift a minimum of fifty pounds to a height of three feet and be able to push, pull, move, and / or carry such weight a minimum distance of ten feet.
