Job Title : Plumbing Assistant Project Manager

Job Summary :
Our Orange County, CA-based construction team is in search of a Plumbing Assistant Project Manager with a strong background in commercial plumbing projects.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Construction Management, coupled with at least 3 years of experience in plumbing design, estimating, and project management.
Proficiency in construction management software such as BlueBeam, MS Project, and Procore is required, along with a track record of contributing to the success of large-scale commercial projects.
Responsibilities :
- Support project managers in the planning, execution, and completion of commercial plumbing projects.
- Assist in the design phase, offering insights and coordination to ensure optimal plumbing system implementation.
- Aid in accurate project estimations and budgeting, leveraging expertise in plumbing systems.
- Utilize construction management software (BlueBeam, MS Project, Procore) for document control, project tracking, and stakeholder communication.
- Ensure projects adhere to timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards.
- Facilitate effective communication among clients, team members, and subcontractors.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance and safety protocols throughout project lifecycles.
- Prepare comprehensive project reports and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Construction Management.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial plumbing design, estimating, and project management.
- Proficiency in BlueBeam, MS Project, and Procore.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple project tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with large commercial projects preferred.
- Local to Orange County, CA, with a stable work history.
Preferred :
- Certification in project management or related fields.
- Advanced knowledge of current plumbing codes and regulations.
