Senior Mechanical Engineer
We are seeking Sr Mechanical Engineer to join our Team. Successful candidates will 8+ years of Engineering Consulting experience.
You will assist in the Design and Project Management of Commercial Projects. Software proficiency in AutoCAD / Revit. Must have strong analytical ability and excellent written & verbal communication skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
- BS / MS in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
- PE License Desired
- 8+ years of experience in designing and managing MEP Projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit Software
- Develop HVAC designs from concept through completion of construction.
- Design HVAC including all associated equipment, ductwork, piping, and specifications.
- Perform HVAC load calculations, ductwork, pipe sizing, and any other calculations required to support the mechanical design.
- Coordinate HVAC design requirements with architecture, structure, and other disciplines.
- Prepare engineering design calculations and mechanical system layouts, and detailed engineering reports and narratives.
- Develop electrical designs from concept through completion of construction.

- Coordinate electrical design requirements with architecture, mechanical, and other disciplines.
- Experience with Educational, Healthcare, Hospitality, Mixed-Use, Multi-Family, and Civic / Institutional / Municipal Projects.
- Ability to mentor junior level staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated familiarity with Local Building Codes & Standards.
- Strong technical leadership and management skills.
Preferred, Not Required
- LEED Accredited Professional and previous experience participating in the LEED or other green rating system process
- Experience and interest in sustainable building design.
