Responsibilities :
- Design Heat Pump assemblies, sheet metal, copper pipe routing in CAD environment
- Product design based on customer requirements and current or future regulations
- Support new product development or sustaining engineering departments with CAD design tasks, order samples and coordinate samples-built
- Proactively identify and address product design issues that adversely affect production or product operation
- Establish validation Test Plans for tolerance definition, transport or packaging
- Able to understand the regulations and transfer the understanding to preventive actions on drawings and / or engineering documents
- Adhere to Safety & Security Protocols
- Join and contribute to product FMEA as a team member
- Understand and build modular BoMs
Minimum Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in CAD, design, or engineering
- 1+ years of design experience from school, internship or professional work
- 1+ years of CAD experience (i.e. NX, Pro-E, AutoCAD or other packages) from school, internship or professional work
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Understanding of engineering design fundamentals
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Observe sample built and write reports to document results and trigger follow up
- Knowledge and / or experience with FEA and / or CFD Analysis Tools
- Develop detail and assembly drawings for products and equipment
- Proficient with hands-on skills (cutting, forming, fabricating, brazing, welding)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to perform mechanical design calculations
- FMEA (Failure Mode & Effects Analysis)
- Ownership to resolve technical problems or prompt response to address issues and escalate as needed
- Be a team player within cross-functional teams, understand multidiscipline needs (engineering, marketing, assembly, logistics, purchasing, etc.)
