We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Student Intern to join our Project Management Department to work with their Culvert Inspection Team.
This internship is an excellent opportunity for students pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
The intern will primarily perform field clerk level duties, gaining hands-on experience in the construction industry. Key Responsibilities :
- Assist project managers and engineers in daily operations on construction sites.
- Perform clerical duties such as organizing project documentation, preparing reports, and maintaining records.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Support the procurement of construction materials and maintain inventory records.
- Participate in quality control procedures and assist in preparing deficiency reports.
- Attend project meetings and take minutes, ensuring all relevant information is documented.
- Collaborate with team members to facilitate effective communication and project execution.
Qualifications :
- Currently enrolled in an Associates or Bachelor’s degree program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- Familiarity with construction management software and tools is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
