Summary : The Vice President of Public Safety Indoor Mapping is responsible for growing and managing DATAMARK Technologies’ public safety indoor mapping vertical.
The public safety indoor mapping vertical will expand DATAMARK Technologies’ current offerings, introduce new products and services, and provide consultative services to public and private markets while complying with emerging industry standards and best practices.
The Director of Public Safety Indoor Mapping will be responsible for hiring a disruptive sales team to capture key markets, developing and executing go-to-market plans and miscellaneous sales tasks to achieve DATAMARK Technologies' new work-added goals and strategic growth.
The director will provide guidance to expand and drive revenue through channel and system integration partners.
Essential Duties :
Sales and GTM Leadership
- Formulate and implement strategies to drive revenue through direct sales and channel partners
- Recruit, train, and mentor the indoor mapping sales team
- Build and manage strong relationships to ensure mutual growth and success
- Track and analyze the performance of sales professionals, providing feedback and support to improve results
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends that can be leveraged to accelerate public safety indoor mapping capture
- Prepare and manage sales forecasts and budgets, ensuring alignment with growth goals
- Reviews and executes strategic growth plans and go-to-market strategies to achieve performance targets
- Monitor industry developments, regulatory, compliance, competitor activities, and customer preferences
- Manage the customer record system and ensure all sales activities comply with DATAMARK Technologies’ policies and legal requirements
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with other departments (product development, operations, and finance) to align strategies to ensure a cohesive approach to achieve business KPIs
- Work closely with proposal development, contracts, and legal to negotiate contracts, agreements, and terms, ensuring favorable terms for DATAMARK Technologies
Industry Engagement and Compliance
- Represents DATAMARK Technologies to industry standards bodies (e.g., NENA, iCERT, APCO, NCSS, ESSN, and NEA) to maintain compliance with current and emerging standards and best practices
- Supports / attends industry meetings, events, and conferences
- Leads industry engagement and participation in work groups, committees, and think tanks
- Identify and assess compliance risks within the organization and develop strategies to mitigate them
- Stay informed about changes in standards, laws, and regulations that affect the organization
- Evaluate product and service compliance and make recommendations for improvements
Miscellaneous
- Supports regular strategic planning efforts working with PMO and Product teams to facilitate substantial growth
- Performs ongoing market and needs analysis to increase market penetration through channel partners
- Must have the ability to travel domestically up to 30%

Minimum Qualifications
The Director of Public Safety Indoor Mapping must have solid and practical communication skills and relationships with external clients, teaming partners, and industry leaders.
Must have at least 20 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or school safety. Must be a proven self-starter, capable of formulating strategies, goals, and objectives resulting in business growth and staff development.
COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is $131,000 to $227,000, depending on the experience of the incoming candidate.
