About the Position The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) has a critical leadership role within our organization and is responsible for leading the comprehensive financial management process.

This includes overseeing the annual budgeting cycle, executing rolling monthly forecasts, and developing sophisticated long-term financial planning models.

The Director of FP&A will be pivotal in shaping the organization's financial strategy, providing deep analytical insights that drive executive decision-making.

This position is crucial in supporting the company’s growth objectives, optimizing capital structure, and enhancing operational efficiency through data-driven recommendations and continuous improvement of financial processes.

The Director of FP&A will be experienced in using analytical tools and enjoys working in a fast-paced flexible environment both as an individual and in a team.

Responsibilities Establishing and leading processes for financial planning, quarterly and annual budget allocation, and company finance forecasting.

Analyzing and communicating key financial insights and high-level recommendations to facilitate effective company scaling.

Enhancing and optimizing the strategic finance system and planning processes for improved efficiency. Oversee and provide guidance to financial analyst.

Create analytics and lead review sessions of actual v. budget / forecast. Support product development team on pricing, costing, and other model needs.

Become the go to person for Engineering Services team on all FP&A needs. Develop / update monthly reporting for site profitability / costs and review observations.

Develop KPI’s to better assess, manage and forecast working capital. Lead customer and plant aspects of budgeting for multiple sites.

Other duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting 10+ years of relevant experience Substantive knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices and reporting of financial data.

10+ years of FP&A experience with manufacturing or medical device company is strongly preferred. Good judgement and decision-making abilities, considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions.

Proficiency with Accounting and ERP software, Microsoft Dynamics Business Central preferred. Experience with system and process implementations, including in the context of M&A is highly desirable.

Strong time management skills, including the time of others. Complex problem-solving skills, identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
