Job Description
Saint Luke’s Cushing is looking for a, Lab Support Technician to support our lab team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to do admits for our patients.
Our lab is a multi-disciplinary and collaborative team with diverse backgrounds and experience levels, which ensures our vision of being The best place to get care.

Shift Hours : 8 : 30am-5 : 00pm M-F
Responsibilities :
Collects patient samplesin accordance with laboratory’s policy, procedures, and regulatory standards
Documents receipt of patient samples in the LIS / EMR; processes and prepares samples for testing.
May perform and report basic laboratory testing, as needed.
Uses education and experience to identify and resolve patient circumstances that might interfere with accurate sample collection
Communicates effectively with nursing and unit staff to relay information concerning patient collections
Procedures may vary pending hospital location
