Sales Representative

Position Summary :
Due to tremendous growth, Morgan Engineering is seeking a Sales Representative to join our team in the Brownstown, MI area.

Responsibilities :
- Drive sales growth in respective geographic areas to meet your assigned financial objectives for Standard Cranes.
- Gather and submit detailed business information to provide sales, technical, product, and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory
- Ensure pricing is within industry levels and are competitive
- Perform joint or independent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. Including field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
- Follow up on potential quotes, and projects and maintain all data in the CRM.
- Attend weekly sales / update meetings to review active projects
- Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, and quotas.
- Participate in the development of sales and marketing strategies and long-range planning
- Continually appraise company products, policies, and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.
- Recommend changes in pricing and product strategy as required
- Appraise promptness in order processing, deliveries, technical services, parts, warranty, and other customer services.
- Attend meetings and trainings as required.
Qualifications :
- Four (4) year degree preferred
- Background in sales, 3 years or more preferred.
- Prior experience with industrial equipment-related sales is preferred
- Familiarity with the overhead crane industry a plus
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical principles
- Good verbal, written, and computer skills are required
- Willing and able to work off the ground.
- Must be willing to travel
