Join our team. ABOUT THE ROLEThe Safety Administrative Coordinator works under the direction of the Corporate Safety Director and provides administrative support for the safety team.
Additionally, the Safety Administrative Coordinator will conduct new hire orientations and be the face of the company for new employees starting with Valley.
WHAT YOU'LL DO-Coordinate the onboarding process and conduct new hire orientations for field employees-Track training records and provide reporting-Manage and track the bi-annual employee safety incentive program-Manage background checks and pre-employment drug test processes-With direction of the Corporate Safety Director, create and / or update safety programs, policies, and safety materials WHO YOU ARE-Could be an entry level position, construction experience is a plus, but not required-Must be bilingual with the ability to verbally and in writing translate English / Spanish -College degree preferred, not required-Strong verbal and written communication skills, including solid interpersonal skills and ability to present in a group.
Strong organization skills-Demonstrates personal leadership and accountability-Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and computer programs-Must be able to travel to other office locations when required.
