Human Resources Specialist
Our client is a dedicated Austin-based, private equity-funded, medical device company that offers an innovative, FDA EUA-authorized, rapid PCR, point-of-care system.
Their product is easy to use, affordable, and provides PCR results in only 15 minutes. They have a vision to enable simple, affordable, rapid, and accurate testing for everyone.

As they continue growing, they are looking for an HR Specialist to assist with a range of Human Resources and Administrative tasks, such as onboarding, benefits management, recruitment, personnel data handling, and addressing daily employee concerns.
This role entails collaborating closely with HR, Administration, and Operations departments, and providing administrative assistance to the Executive team as required.

What YOU get to DO at this growing company :
- Perform various HR administrative tasks, including record maintenance and HRIS updates.
- Aid in recruitment, onboarding, and payroll processing.
- Manage employee benefits and ensure compliance with laws and policies.
- Generate HR reports and assist with data analysis.
- Support HR projects as assigned by management.
What you NEED to SUCCEED in this challenging role :
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience is necessary.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources or comparable roles is required. Experience in small company settings is advantageous.
- Proficiency in problem-solving and implementing solutions is essential.
- Effective communication with team members is a must.
- The ability to collaborate, explain rationale, and influence others in a dynamic environment is important.
- Capable of working independently with moderate supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software for report generation.
- The ability to move around the facility is necessary.
