OFFICE ASSISTANT (TYPING)

Job Description and Duties

The San Andreas Area has an opening for a permanent full-time Office Assistant (Typing). Under the general supervision of the Area's OSSI, the selected candidate will perform a variety of clerical duties.

The primary responsibilities consist of providing the main receptionist functions for the Area office, answering in-coming telephone calls, and greeting incoming the public at the counter.

The Office Assistant will also be responsible for processing stored vehicle reports and other various monthly and quarterly reports, also process the daily mail and traffic collision and photo requests, use the Area's computer system for data input in computer programs, and perform other duties as assigned and provide coverage to the OSSI during vacations and absences.

Special Requirements

The position(s) require(s) the ability to type at a minimum speed as designated on the Class Specifications (link available in the additional documentation section).

You must obtain a valid typing certificate confirming your ability to meet the minimum typing speed, prior to being hired.
