Position Purpose

To interface with project design teams and develop and advance projects in all phases of the design process. Will work on a variety of exciting projects serving some of our key market sectors including residential, commercial, institutional, municipal, parks & recreation and urban design.

Essential Functions + Responsibilities

  • Produce high quality construction documents, bid packages and cost estimates
  • Site planning at a variety of scale and project types including residential, commercial, institutional, and public and on specific projects such as community planning and amenities, parks & recreation, greenways, and urban design
  • Apply development ordinances and codes to designs to seek development approval
  • Proven project delivery experience including schedule management and internal / external coordination
  • Collaborate with internal and external multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high quality projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program
  • 0-2 years of working experience; entry level designer
  • Demonstrated expertise in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suites (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.) and Sketch-up
  • Experience with hand drawing of layouts and site plans for preliminary submittals
  • Eager to engage in our creative and dynamic work environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
