Director of Operations
Location : Temple, TX (Relocation Assistance Available)
Salary : $140k - $180k + 10-20% Bonus, Full Benefits
Are you a seasoned leader with a passion for driving operational growth and strategy in large-scale manufacturing? We’re seeking a Director of Operations for a rapidly growing company that specializes in hydraulic equipment and parts manufacturing.
This is a key leadership role where you'll oversee operations across two plants. Our client generated $1.2 billion in revenue last year, and they’re looking for a transformative leader to continue pushing growth.
Located an hour from Austin and 30 minutes south of Waco, this role offers an excellent opportunity for both professional growth and an outstanding quality of life.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead operations and oversee plant performance across multiple locations
- Drive organizational growth, implementing strategies for operational excellence
- Focus on machining, welding, and assembly process improvements
- Leverage Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize operations
- Collaborate with leadership on turnaround strategies to improve efficiencies and reduce costs
Requirements :
- Proven experience in companies generating $200M+ in revenue
- 10+ years in VP, GM, or Director roles in manufacturing operations
- Turnaround experience, with a track record of delivering focused improvements
- Lean Certified / Six Sigma Black Belt required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Operations or Engineering (MBA preferred)
- Expertise in machining, welding, and assembly operations
