MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A) Possession of a Bachelor’s degree, including or supplemented by 30 semester credit hours in the physical or biological sciences and / or relevant applied sciences.
Up to 12 credit hours in the applied sciences listed below may be credited toward the required 30 hours. In addition, candidates must have completed a one (1) year training program and completion of a training course approved by the New York State Health Department; or :
B) Five (5) years of experience as a Public Health Technician and completion of a training course approved by the New York State Health Department.
