A non-profit company in Burbank is looking for a reliable, dedicated Finance Data Entry Clerk to help the financial department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately maintaining our company's financial data by inputting, interpreting and verifying various financial transactions.
Responsibilities :
Accurately enter financial data and maintain updated records of various transactions in the company's database.
Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities and checking the output for accuracy.
Assist in generating regular financial reports, including expenditure, revenue, and forecast reports.
Use database systems to input, update and manage financial data.
Assist with routine administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and other finance-related tasks.
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure seamless flow of financial information in the organization.
Adhere to the company's finance policies and procedures to maintain a well-organized database system.
Ensure confidentiality of financial data in line with data protection regulations.
Assist with month-end financial reports as directed by the Finance Manager.
Support the finance team with audit preparation and query resolution.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in related field such as business administration, finance, or accounting.
Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk, Administrative Assistant or similar role.
Fast typing skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel.
Knowledge of database management and data processing.
Good understanding of basic accounting and financial principles
Strong numerical skills, attention to detail and confidentiality.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Familiarity with financial software systems would be advantageous.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
