A company is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join a team in the non-profit industry, located in Valley Village, California.

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for inputting data into our various database systems, managing PDF documents using Adobe Acrobat, and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive materials.

This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities :

  • Accurately input data from different sources into our computer database systems.
  • Utilize Adobe Acrobat software to manage and convert PDF files, ensuring optimal layout, quality, and accessibility.
  • Protect sensitive information within PDF documents using redacting tools.
  • Adjust portions of a document including cropping and resizing without disturbing the format.
  • Create, edit, and combine PDFs to deliver precise information.
  • Efficiently add or remove annotations or comments on PDF files as required.
  • Convert PDF documents to other formats without losing integral components of the original layout.
  • Proofread and verify data for accuracy, making necessary corrections within the database or PDF files.
  • Regularly conduct system upgrades to stay updated and keep systems efficient.
  • Stay informed about the latest PDF conversion tools and best practices.

Requirements :

  • Possess a minimum of 1+ year(s) of experience in a data entry role or similar position.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for various tasks such as data entry and organizing files.
  • Demonstrated ability in email correspondence, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Proficient in 10 Key Skills for accurate data entry and efficient calculations.
  • Experience in using Adobe Acrobat for document management tasks.
  • Strong customer service skills, capable of professionally and efficiently addressing queries and concerns.
  • Ability to perform calculations accurately, particularly in relation to data entry tasks.
  • Proficient typing skills for efficient and accurate data entry.
  • Experience in organizing files, ensuring easy access and retrieval of data.
  • Must be able to work in a non-profit industry setting, understanding the unique requirements and goals of such organizations.
