Department Overview
The Pediatric Hospital Medicine (PHM) Department at Children's Minnesota is seeking PGY3 residents from University of Minnesota Department of Pediatrics or Medicine-Pediatrics who are interested in moonlighting opportunities for the upcoming 2024 / 2025 Academic Year.Â
Children's PHM team is a collaborative medical practice of pediatricians and pediatric nurse practitioners who specialize in the care of hospitalized infants, children and teenagers.
A 24 / 7 / 365 on-site service located at both the Minneapolis and St. Paul hospital campuses.
POSITION INFORMATION
While working under the supervision of attending hospitalist, you will assist the PHM teams                with clinical duties.
- Resident moonlighters will be supervised by an attending physician hospitalists therefore all patients must be staffed with an attending.Â
- Responsibilities include admissions, rounding, discharges, and direct patient care, care coordination with multidisciplinary team members, and communication with patient and families
- Predominant shifts offered will be evening shifts (3P-12P), overnight (9P-7A or 11P-7A), and some daytime rounding shifts (7A-4P).
