Job Posting TitleClinical Oncology Pharmacist- Managed Care Oncology Experience required - REMOTEJob DescriptionThe Oncology Pharmacist position is responsible for the overall direction and management of Prime’s Oncology Medical Specialty programs.

This position has primary leadership responsibility for the design, development, implementation and execution of systems, programs and processes driving and supporting Prime’s overall oncology business objectives.

Responsibilities : Supports overall Medical Specialty line for health plans through validated program enhancements, creation of usable, client collateral materials with marketing, and supporting client discussions.

Develops new opportunities and supports expansion of programs for existing clients.Works with analytics team to provide program outcomes to measure for cost impact analyses for health plan clients.

Manage and support the oncology Medical Pharmacy development needs for current and potential new clients.Research, obtain, coordinate, and integrate feedback from diverse operational groups and organizations into a written product to educate internal partners and clients.

Identify and develop opportunities for improved process efficiencies for Oncology Medical Pharmacy programs.Support the preparation and delivery of program reporting.

Develop appropriate submissions for program presentations at National meetings and for publication acceptance.Work with internal and external stakeholders to support client requests and issue resolution as part of the innovation and strategy team.

Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications : Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science Pharmacy degreeCurrent pharmacist license in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy in the State where the position is located7 years of work experience as Pharmacist in clinical oncology with experience at oncology institution, practice or hospiceExperience working in managed care, health plans or PBMMust be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorshipAdditional Qualifications : Strong interpersonal communication skills, including team leadership, conflict resolution and listeningAction oriented ability to identify and implement opportunities.

Ability to precept pharmacy studentsStrong presentation skills, written and verbal communicationOutstanding interpersonal, consultation, organizational, tracking and follow-up skills.

Strong data review and interpretation skillsMust have significant clinical knowledge, business acumen, and industry insight.

In depth understanding and experience of the current Oncology therapeutic market and dynamic, and any relevant current or upcoming regulatory or legislative changes effecting the treatment of cancer.

Process and detail oriented with disciplined implementation methodologies and a keen ability to executeAbility to manage multiple, complex project simultaneously without compromising qualityAbility to work under pressure and strict timeframesPreferred Qualifications : PGY1 pharmacy residency experience preferredBCOP Board Certified Oncology PharmacistMinimum Physical Job Requirements : Ability to travel up to 20% of the timeFrequently required to reach with hands and armsOccasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouchOccasionally required to lift and / or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 poundsSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focusReporting Structure : Reports to Senior Director or Director in the Medical Specialty departmentPotential pay for this position ranges from $144,000.
