Position : Machine Operator / General labor
Pay Rate : $16.25-$17.00
Shift : Monday- Friday / some Saturday's
Full-time.
Location : Gilroy, Ca.
To operate machinery and equipment in production line.
- 1 year experience
- Assemble and disassemble machines and other equipment.
- Complete daily process run log.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, SOPs, safety pre-op, and any other required documents.
- Perform pre-wash of equipment or machinery.
- Set up printer with proper date codes
- Ensure all conveyor belts are on and working.
- Set up weights, cups and lids.
- Weigh product in cups / tubs.
- Perform necessary HACCP requirements
- Perform wash down of line after 3 hours of production when product changes take place.
- Must be able to pass pallet-jack training to be certified.
- Must be able to work in variant room temperatures including below 40 degrees and as high as 80 degrees.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Must be technically oriented.
- Previous machine operator experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
- Bilingual Preferred
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- Computer knowledge a plus.
- Able to lift 50lbs.
- Familiarity using scales.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
