Position Title : Tax Talent Alignment Manager

As part of our Talent Alignment Group (TAG), the Talent Alignment Manager works closely with Managers and Partners to ensure engagements are staffed appropriately and enables our practices to leverage the right talent, on the right clients, at the right time.

How you will contribute :
- Scheduling of talent to appropriate client assignments based on timing, travel, levels, skills, and other necessary requirements
- Utilizing scheduling tools to forecast hours, track / manage utilization, and monitor overall headcount, chargeable hours, and overtime to ensure work is distributed appropriately
- Managing open needs by identifying solutions as well as anticipating potential conflicts and proactively managing them by generating ideas and surfacing alternative solutions
- Collaborating with engagement teams to maintain an updated scheduling system with realistic information to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting
- Maintaining a solid understanding of the skills, experiences, and career goals of professional staff to ensure optimal client assignments alignments;
ensuring skills and interest profiles are updated regularly as required
- Maintaining a strong pulse on current and future needs and capacity.
- Analyzing resource data / identifying trends around key data and metrics such as availability, utilization, actual vs scheduled variance data, team leverage, and open needs
- Collaborating with the leaders to ensure consistency and alignment with strategy, elevating areas of opportunity, concern, or performance challenges
- Building strong relationships with client serving personnel at all levels as well as collaborating closely with other Internal Firm Services teams (e.
g., Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Operations)
- Collaborating with peers to innovate, educate and promote consistent firm-wide resource management practices.
- May serve as a manager or coach for lower-level resource management staff.

Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- 5 years or more of experience in a similar role
- Strong technical and analytical skills, including data management and manipulation capabilities
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications with exceptional Excel skills
- Experience in tax client service and / or tax resource management
- Ability to work more than 40 hours a week, as needed
- Some business travel expected
Preferred Qualifications :
- 10 years or more of experience in a similar role
- CPA license or Resource Management Certified Professional (RMCP)
California Pay Transparency
Pursuant to the pay transparency laws of California, the salary range displayed is for the California market. The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position.
Total compensation and benefits consist of salary, group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave.
FORVIS reserves the right to make changes to the salary range based on business needs.
California Salary Range :
CA Minimum Salary (USD) : $75,000
CA Maximum Salary (USD) : $137,000
