Machine Operator - 1st & 2ndShift - Mills River - Up to $20.00 / hr.
PrideStaff is currently seeking a Machine Operator for 1st and 2nd Shift for a manufacturing company located in Mills River .
Position Responsibilities :
- Sets up and operates fabrication machines, such as brake and punch presses.
- Creates and assembles metal work pieces.
- Follows specifications in job orders, verbal instructions, and blueprints.
- Observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction.
- Measures work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation.
- Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or work pieces.
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred.
- Knowledge of standard and metric measurements.
- Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
