An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our busy IT team at our Cranswick Fresh Poultry site at Eye.
The successful candidate will manage and maintain our IT infrastructure, including servers, virtualization environments and network components.
The candidate will become an integral part of our forward-thinking IT team.

Shift pattern :
Core hours expected to be Monday to Friday 08 : 00am-17 : 00pm
What you will be doing :
- Performing routine maintenance, firmware updates, and monitoring of server hardware.
- Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues on servers.
- Optimizing virtual machine performance and manage resource allocation.
- Assisting in configuring and managing firewalls to protect network and server infrastructure.
- Implementing and maintaining Rubrik backup solutions, ensuring data integrity and availability.
- Participating in security audits and implementing best practices to enhance network security.
- Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) with IT team members.
- Providing Level 2 / 3 support for IT infrastructure-related issues.
What you will need :
- Proven experience with Hewlett Packard servers, including setup, management, and troubleshooting.
- Strong experience in managing Windows Server and Hyper-V environments.
- Competency in managing Cisco switches and Meraki wireless networks.
- Basic understanding of firewalls and Rubrik backup solutions is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Relevant certifications such as HP ASE, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft Certified : Windows Server, or similar are advantageous
- Flexibility and willingness to provide our of hours support as needed for critical incidents.
Pay and Benefits :
