Academic General Surgeon Opportunity in Southern California Assistant / Associate Professor of Surgery, Division of MIS / General Surgery Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Surgery, is seeking General Surgeons to join our team at the position of Assistant or Associate Professor.
We are looking for General Surgeons to join the MIS and General Surgery Division at Loma Linda University Health. The surgeon will have a practice with a broad range of general surgery including but not limited to gallbladder, inguinal and abdominal wall hernia surgeries, benign colorectal, foregut, and lumps and bumps.
The ideal candidate will have completed an ACGME approved general surgery residency training program, be board certified or eligible and have or be eligible for a California medical license.
Experience or training in MIS surgery is beneficial but not required. The surgeon will be a core faculty member for the General Surgery Residency Program.
The applicant must have a commitment to research and education and will work closely with medical students, residents, and fellows.
There are ample leadership opportunities in this division. Hospital environments include tertiary academic and satellite community programs and one of the nation’s largest FQHC specialty clinics.
Across all settings, our surgeons have access to eight robotic platforms. Candidates must have appropriate board certification and licensure.

This amount does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to the individual department compensation plans.
