HYBRID - If you reside within 50 miles of Adtalem offices in Chicago, IL, Addison, IL, Columbia, MD, Minneapolis, MN, and Miramar, FL this role is hybrid, requiring office presence three days a week (Tue, Wed, Thu), with the rest of the workweek spent working from home.

Job Description

Opportunity at a Glance

The Assessment Specialist is responsible for supporting various aspects of assessment development, administration, maintenance, and security for Chamberlain University.

The Assessment Specialist collaborates with multiple stakeholders to promote quality assessment delivery and security.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the assessment team and other stakeholders to support assessment development, administration, maintenance, and security
  • Support assessment related projects
  • Accurately manage course and assessment postings within assessment platform
  • Review assessment recordings and information for alignment with testing expectations
  • Routinely complete assessment security audits
  • Submit assessments through academic integrity software, review reports, and document results
  • Support academic integrity incident monitoring, investigation, and reporting
  • Investigate and identify solutions to promote assessment security related to use, processes, and policies
  • Assist with development, maintenance, and monitoring of assessment related resources, processes, and workflows
  • Prepare and manage assessment data reports
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Provide colleague assessment technology support
  • Collaborate with product vendors as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Instructional Technology, Education, or comparable discipline Preferred
  • Associate's Degree Associate's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Instructional Technology, Education, or comparable discipline Required
  • 2+ years Relevant technology experience Required
  • Experience with assessment / education platforms or technology Preferred
  • Excellent oral / written communications skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details
  • Proficiency in Microsoft windows and Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Ability to work independently and accurately in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to learn and implement new technologies and adapt processes for continuous quality improvement
  • Ability to work in a team environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve issues and determine effective solutions
  • Ability to work effectively and productively in a remote location
  • Ability to function as a collaborative team member and to consistently model the TEACH values

Additional Information

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $53521.

00 and $96736.75. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training;

geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility. Our Talent Acquisition Team will be happy to answer any questions you may have, and we look forward to learning more about your salary requirements.
