Provider Template Builder, Burr Ridge

Be a part of a world-class academic healthcare system at UChicago Medicine as a Provider Template Builder at our Burr Ridge Call Center .

Please note this position will be located in Burr Ridge. In this role you will develop quality measures for the template builder team and you will monitor performance to assure operational stability and consistency in service levels.

The Provider Template Builder will create clinic templates for providers. They will receive, interpret, and execute provider template change requests.

The builder will receive requests via the standard request system (Service Now) and makes the change following template standards using the edit template function.

Essential Job Functions :

Edit and maintain provider scheduling templates in Epic (Cadence), Understands and follows template design principles and provider template related policies and procedures.

Understands appointment slot designations and visit types to meet business / clinical needs

• Reviews Service Now tickets and prioritizes requests based on priority, coordinating work assignments with team members
• Assists in the development and communication of clinic policies and procedures relating to scheduling and provider templates
• Ensures templates are up to date with blocking schedules / rescheduling due to time off or other time away. Adheres to organization policies for provider time off requests
• Ensures that all reschedule lists are distributed to clinic leadership for completion
• Manages templates to ensure they are optimized and utilized for make-up sessions
• Notifies leadership when requested changes do not follow expected template build principles

Required Qualifications :

• If not already achieved, requires successful completion of Epic Schedule Strategy Badge within 120 days of hire per Epic recommendations
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Be able to organize work to meet deadlines
• Minimum of 2 years of healthcare related or call center experience

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with Electronic Health Records and / or Epic
