We are currently seeking a School Psychologist for the upcoming 23 / 24 school year. This position will primarily involve working with an elementary caseload, split between two school sites.
We are open to considering both full-time and part-time candidates, with flexible hours per week. As a School Psychologist, you will perform a range of general psych duties to support the academic and social-emotional well-being of students.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and screenings to identify students' needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop appropriate intervention strategies.
- Provide counseling services and support students' social-emotional development.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of IEPs.
- Monitor student progress and make recommendations for academic and behavioral interventions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of positive behavior support plans.
- Stay updated on special education laws, regulations, and best practices in the field.
Qualifications :
- Valid Ohio certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with elementary school students is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment and intervention techniques.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
