Job Title : Labor and Delivery Nurse Job Specialty : Nursing - Labor and Delivery Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 4x12 Days Guaranteed Hours : 48 Hours per Week Experience : Minimum 3 Years License : Registered Nurse Certifications : - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - Intermediate Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Must-Have : - Ability to work under general supervision and perform a wide variety of professional nursing duties - Willingness to float if needed, within skill set - Successful completion of a short medication administration test Job Description : - Perform a wide range of professional nursing duties for patients in the labor and delivery department - Manage patient care and coordinate with other healthcare professionals - Oversee and prioritize patient care effectively - Ensure compliance with policies and procedures - Provide exceptional care to patients and families - Support critical care to newborns and ensure readiness for emergencies - Work in a licensed facility with a diverse range of clinical services and a commitment to high-quality patient care - Potential requirement to work in other units such as Stroke and Trauma, ICU, and ER as needed - Work during holidays as required
