Job Description :
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team in the food and beverage industry . The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production machinery.
This role requires a hands-on individual with a strong mechanical and electrical background to ensure all equipment is operating efficiently, safely, and in compliance with food safety standards.
15+ years of experience with Uniloy blow molding machines is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery
- Extensive experience with Uniloy blow molding machines
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, minimizing production downtime.
- Lead or assist in the installation, upgrade, and repair of food processing and packaging equipment.
- Develop and implement routine maintenance schedules and safety protocols for machinery.
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize machine performance and production efficiency.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and repair documentation.
- Adhere to all food safety and OSHA guidelines during maintenance and repair activities.
- Train and mentor junior maintenance staff to build team capabilities.
- Stay current on technological advancements in blow molding and food processing equipment.
Qualifications :
- 15+ years of hands-on maintenance experience working with Uniloy blow molding machines.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Familiarity with food processing equipment and industry-specific maintenance requirements.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Education :
- High School Diploma or GED required; a technical certification or degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.
