Job Description
Paradigm is searching for a licensed (PE) Structural Engineer to support our client, a leading full-service engineering firm focused on large-scale industrial projects.
Our client, located in Rogers, AR, offers services in civil, structural, mechanical, industrial, electrical engineering, architecture, project planning, development, and construction coordination.
Rogers is a city in Benton County, Arkansas. Located in the Ozarks, it is part of the Northwest Arkansas region, one of the fastest growing metro areas in the country.
Type : Direct Hire - Full time
Location : Rogers, AR - Onsite / hybrid

As a Structural Engineer you will :
- Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, proposals, and construction cost estimates for a wide variety of construction and retrofit applications.
- Modeling and analysis of structures and foundations using RISA 3D, RISA Foundation, RISA Connection, Hilti Profis.
o New construction and retro fit applications.
o Required Knowledge of IBC, ASCE-7, AISC 360, ACI 318 etc.
- Oversee development design drawings with the help of drafting / design staff in Autodesk Revit, and Auto CAD.
- Preparation of specifications for civil / structural trades for projects.
- Coordinate with owner and contractor through construction.
o Shop drawing review and approval.
o RFI’s.
o Inspections and site visits.
- Design of equipment support structures for process equipment.
- Design of foundations for pre-engineered metal buildings, large equipment, radial cranes, sub-steel structures.
- Familiarity with all conventional shallow and deep foundation systems.
- Design of masonry and light framed construction office buildings and MCC rooms.
- Work as team leader over design coordinator and drafting personnel on large projects.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and building contractors on design and construction of projects.
Requirements
Our skills and experience wish list includes :
- Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering from ABET accredited university.
- NCEES Licensed Professional Engineer Civil / Structural.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, RISA or similar structural design software.
- Available for intermittent overnight travel.
