New Store Opening Trainer

Job Description

We are searching for an experienced NSO Trainer to help support the future growth and enhancing the training of our existing Team.

As an NSO Trainer, you are responsible for preparing the restaurant and team for opening, leading the on-site training, and analyzing post-opening results and recommending actions to improve business trends while collaborating with our Operations Team, Learning and Development Team, and Senior Leadership.

Our ideal candidate has at least two years in a Restaurant Operations Training role or equivalent.

Position Description

  • As a member of the cross-functional support team, participate on weekly pre-opening support calls to provide product ordering, scheduling and training recommendations based on sales forecasts.
  • When arriving on-site, complete pre-opening checklist and coordinate support to correct deficiencies prior to training.
  • Make fact-based recommendation to Operations Leadership on opening readiness status (i.e., ready to open, delay opening to correct deficiencies).
  • Coordinate and lead on-site operational training to managers and team throughout Vibe Wingstops. Identify learning gaps and design training intervention(s) to help team members execute operational standards and procedures.
  • Provide on-site training for (POS) Aloha and Back-Office (NBO).
  • Create training summary after each restaurant opening to include : analysis of business trends and observations of team’s skills.

Review findings and recommendations for improvement.

  • Prolonged periods standing / walking
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs. at times

Job Type : Full-time

Salary : $50,000-$60,000

  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

    • Must be 18 years of age
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Demonstration of leadership skills
    • English language proficiency that enables speech expression clarity and proficient reading and verbal comprehension
    • Completed or willing to complete Vibe management certifications
    • Completion or willing to complete Anti-Harassment training
    • Must have access to major airport and ability to travel when needed
    • License / Certification : Driver's License (Required)
    • Willingness to travel : 75% Minimum Based on New Store Opening Calendar (Required)
    • Work Location : On the road

    CRITICAL RELATIONSHIPS :

    • Reports to Senior Director of Operations
    • May be coached by NRO Manager and Operations Coach
