Responsibilities

Responsibilities in our Investigative Group

  • Assist Senior Staff in performing a wide range of forensic investigations related to damage and deterioration structures and physical condition assessment studies
  • Assist Senior Staff in developing designs to repair or restore existing wood, masonry, concrete and steel structures
  • Writing technical reports
  • Will utilize AutoCAD and / or Revit to produce digital drawings and models

Qualifications

Minimum of a bachelor's degree in civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited engineering school; other degrees will be considered based on relevant experience

  • AutoCAD and / or Revit experience is a plus
  • Certification - Highly preferred - Engineering intern (passed NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering FE exam)
  • Reliable transportation to and from office location
  • Strong work ethic, willingness to learn and try new things

Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to lift or move objects weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Ability / willingness to climb ladders and scaffolding, work from heights, walk roofs, access crawl spaces and other areas of limited accessibility
