This is a great opportunity for an individual looking for an entry level cooking job, just starting out, or seeking something fast paced, but also low pressure! Full and part time positions available!
A bit about us!
Dukes Grocery is The result of a couple guys who love good food and cold drinks, Duke's Grocery is a neighborhood pub and supper spot located in the Dupont Circle, Foggy Bottom, and Navy Yard areas of Washington, D.
C., with a Duke's Counter sister location in Woodley Park / National Zoo.
The idea is simple : create a fun spot that our friends (you!) can come in anytime and have a fulfilling meal, a tasty drink and great time in an atmosphere that is unpretentious and laid back.

Job Requirements :
- Flexible Schedule, ability to work nights / weekends , brunch IS A THING.
- Good attitude! We like to have a good time while cooking, we hope you do also.
- A year of cooking experience is a plus, but not required.
- Spanish speaking is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work clean and efficiently
- Ability to ask questions! This is an important, if not the most important one.
- General understanding of kitchen equipment / knife skills
- General understanding sanitation and organization.
- Ability to ask for help when needed.
Pay rate is based on experience ($19 - $21 an hour)
