Job Summary :
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Business Development Intern to join our team at our Springfield, Missouri home office.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business development, sales, and operations within a dynamic company.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for business operations, strong communication skills, and a willingness to work in a warehouse environment as needed.
In addition to business development responsibilities, this role will collaborate with various home office teams to perform administrative tasks and support warehouse operations.

Duties / Responsibilities :
Assist in conducting market research and analysis to identify potential clients, competitors, and market trends
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategies to optimize sales and revenue generation
Help maintain and update customer databases, sales records, and other relevant documentation
Assist with the preparation of sales materials, proposals, and other business development documents
Assist the inventory team with various projects, including bin replenishment
Prepare Monday packs for distribution to our sales teams
Assemble training binders and other materials as needed
Perform data entry, filing, and handling of financial records with the Accounting and HR teams.
Requirements
- Ability to grasp detailed information on all our product lines
- Experience working with an outside sales team preferred
- Self-starter and organized to effectively manage workflow in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of CRM systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Analytical and curious by nature
- Valid driver's license
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Education and Experience :
Higher Education in Communication, Marketing, Business, Sales preferred or equivalent experience.
