Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas and feedback during the editing process. A portfolio showcasing previous work in video editing or related fields is highly desirable. Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor with a passion for food & restaurants to add to our small Austin team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video production and post-production, with proficiency in various editing software and tools. This role will primarily involve cutting up large amounts of food-footage into short clips for instagram reels as well as creating podcast clips for social media.
Responsibilities :
- Edit video footage, specifically cutting highlights out of
- Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project objectives and deliverables.
- Utilize software such as Adobe Premiere AND
- Davinci Resolve
- video editing tasks.
- Conduct post-production processes including color correction and video rendering.
- Manage video files using content management systems and FTP for efficient workflow.
- Podcast editing
- Podcast Clip Creation
- Assist in photo editing and manipulation using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, as needed if skills are applicable.
