Provides repairs, scheduled maintenance, and calibration on diagnostic imaging equipment and ancillary equipment used within the imaging environment.
Services imaging equipment in assigned geography which may include but not limited to the following modalities : CR, Portables, C-Arms, conventional X-Ray, R&F, tomography, mammography, ultrasound, CT, MRI, Cath labs, nuclear medicine or linear accelerators.
Provides a high level of technical support and training to clinical departments in areas of expertise.
May be expected to be present during the clinical use of equipment in area of expertise and assume responsibility for equipment operation.
In addition, incumbent will be expected to work closely with clinical departments to assist in development of processes or procedures relative to clinical use of technologies in area of expertise.
This position is expected to have the ability to multitask several projects.

Required Qualifications :
- Associate's Degree Biomedical Equipment Technology or
- Electronics Technology, Military or Technical Training
- Upon request : Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving.
Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.

Preferred Qualifications :
8 years' Experience repairing / maintaining imaging modalities.
