The Sales Development Representative will identify and pursue new and retention opportunities that add strategic value to the Wholesale Branded Sales Organization.
They will be responsible for meeting LRP targets through effective negotiation and communication skills.
Responsibilities May Include :
- Develop and implement plans to pursue strategic new business opportunities.
- Prospect, develop, and expand new business and market share within the region.
- Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities with both new and existing customers.
- Apply economic models to evaluate and prioritize opportunities.
- Support the Wholesale Branded Sales Organization in achieving sales and integration targets.
- Act as a key resource for major acquisitions within the USM Business Development group.
- Build and maintain critical business relationships.
- Manage sales efforts and opportunity pipelines using and SFE processes.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination with customers and internal teams.
- Provide strategic recommendations and guidance to management.
Required Qualifications :
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Willingness to travel domestically at least 25%
- 3+ years of sales experience and / or other equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience generating growth opportunities, negotiating profitable new business, and building strong, trusting relationships
- 3+ years in influence management, conflict resolution, and team leadership goals
- 5+ years of experience working across various business functions, including Marketing, Commercial, VCO, Midstream, Legal, Finance, and C&CS
- 5+ years in business and technical trend analysis, strategic analysis, and problem-solving, with a track record of clear communication and effective recommendations
- 5+ years of effective verbal and written communication with internal and / or external counterparties
- 5+ years in Retail / Wholesale Marketing and / or other relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications :
- In-depth knowledge of Marketing Sales, Programs, Pricing, Contracts, and Commercial operations
- Strong understanding of clean products market share, refinery systems, and channel / customer dynamics
- Expertise in value chain economics and brand value composition
- Proven track record of delivering tangible business results
- Skilled in networking and building trust with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent planning and organizational skills for managing competing priorities
- Ability to lead and resolve issues independently, involving relevant parties as needed
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like formulas, lookups, and pivot tables
