Key Responsibilities :

• Financial Advisor : Be the trusted financial resource and advisor for our hotel financial and management teams.
• Timely Reporting : Ensure that monthly hotel financial statements are meticulously prepared, reviewed for precision, and distributed promptly for a select set of hotels under the guidance of the Regional Controller.
• Reconciliation Expert : Master monthly bank account and balance sheet reconciliations with precision and timeliness.
• Report Maestro : Take charge of preparing and reviewing monthly financial reports for hotels, owners, and investors.
• Audit Support : Partner with the regional director of finance to prepare for annual audits.
• Vendor Partnership : Review the accuracy of new accounts payable vendor requests and support accounts payable invoice posting as needed.
• Custom Reports : Produce additional monthly financial reports based on requirements.

Qualifications

• Educational Background : A degree from a four-year college, preferably with an accounting concentration.
• Experience : Five+ years of related experience, with a preference for hospitality industry knowledge.
• Financial Proficiency : Command of accounts payable, payroll, debits and credits, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, accounts receivables, bank reconciliation, and cash flow projections.
• Communication Skills : Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Tech-Savvy : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Accounting Know-How : Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
