Mobile Tester

Title : QAEngineer

Location : Englewood Cliffs NewJersey

Lookingfor candidate who have experience with Appium and MobileTesting

Responsibilities

Provide highlevel test effortestimate

Create detailed and wellstructured test plans and testcases

Set up a test harness to testfunctionality

Automation feasibility study development & maintenance of APIfunctional integration and load / performance scripts acrossplatforms

Build deploy application & conduct manual and automated testingas per definedprocess

Report and follow up of defects found untilclosure

Analyze logs in order to understand the root causes ofissues

Participate in agile standups planning sessions andretrospectives

Perform automated nightly application regression & performancetest

Functional / Integration / Production testing by leveraging CI / CDPipeline

Work both independently and in close collaboration with others inthe team and across the business to achieve quality &performance engineeringgoals

Bring the quality consciousness test leadership and customeradvocacy

Create and maintain HOWTOs and other materials for quality &performance engineeringteam

Knowledge Management / Retention Cross training &documentation

Actively coach / mentor qualityengineers

Publish KPIs & metrics ensure processcompliance

Onsite Offshore coordination asrequired

MinimumRequirements

B.S degree or higher in computer science or relatededucation

5 yrs. of experience in software engineering QEtesting

3 yrs. of experience in testing mobile apps ads metrics videoplayers (live / ondemand) & streaming media content on iOS &Androidplatforms

3 yrs. of experience in software engineering QEautomation

Must be proficient inJava

Must have experience implementing automation frameworks (SeleniumWebDriver / Appium / TestNG / Junit)

Must have experience with performance testing tools to measureserver & clientsidemetrics

Any experience in software engineering Securitytesting

Must have experience using Version control (GIT) SQL CI / CD Tools(Jenkins) Build Tools (Maven ANT etc) Debugging Tools(Charles / Fiddler) Monitoring tools (New Relic) Agile ManagementTool (JIRA) Test Management Tool(TestRail)

Any certification related to QE / Process / Automation / PerformanceTest / Security
