Description

Works closely with all members of the emergency team to provide direct patient care to optimize positive patient care outcomes.

Assists the physician / nurse practitioner during procedures by providing the appropriate sutures, supplies, instruments, and equipment.

Maintains proper sterile technique during the procedure.

Required Qualifications :

  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • Prevention and Management of Assaultive Behavior (PMAB) upon hire and annually.
  • 1 year - Relevant experience. Patient care or clinical experience preferred. Experience acquired during certification or licensure process, military experience as medical personnel or senior clinical nursing student is also considered.

Preferred Qualifications :

Current or previous EMT, Paramedic, Completion of Medical Assistant Program or CNA certificate upon hire.
