Staff Accountant

Keyline USA is an innovative company operating at a global level in a highly competitive field of the design and production of keys and mechanical and electronic key cutting machines.

We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team in North Olmsted, OH! This person would be someone who supports the finance and accounting function, as well as the broader organization with various daily and monthly close-related tasks.

This position requires a solid understanding of general accounting practices and strong communication skills to effectively support the business.

What will be expected of you :

• Monitor accounts receivable activities, follow up on outstanding invoices, and collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve any discrepancies.
• Process vendor invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments while maintaining open communication with suppliers.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Support Finance & Accounting leader with reconciliation of balance sheet, all accounts, financial reports and ensure that there is documentation that validates financial expenditures and revenue.
• Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements.
• Support the preparation of Management summary reports to help inform decision making.
• Assist with compiling information to complete annual budgets.
• Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws and accounting rules.
• Assist with special and ad-hoc finance and accounting project requests in support of the function or broader organization to enable strong decision making.
• Navigate internal and external customer requests and demands efficiently to ensure they are met.

What you will need to be successful :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting is required
• Must have 1-2 years working in an accounting role
• Computer proficiency with the Microsoft suite of products, particularly Excel is required; experience with SAP is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to engage with internal and external customers.
• Must have an ability to work effectively and independently, supporting conflicting priorities and deadlines.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and productive while working to the best of their abilities.
• Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and consistently delivers high quality work.
