We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Transactional Legal Assistant to join our growing legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience in estate planning and business documentation, demonstrating a strong attention to detail and the ability to support our attorneys in transactional matters.

This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist attorneys with the preparation, review, and editing of estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and power of attorney documents.
  • Support attorneys in preparing and managing business documents, such as contracts, agreements, and corporate formation documents.
  • Maintain and organize files, ensuring accurate and timely documentation for all client matters.
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and deadlines.
  • Conduct basic research related to transactional legal matters as needed.
  • Handle client communications professionally, maintaining confidentiality and a high level of service.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as data entry, file management, and document preparation to support the transactional practice.

Qualifications :

  • Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience as a legal assistant, with a focus on estate planning and business documentation.
  • Education : Associate’s degree or equivalent; paralegal certification preferred but not required.
  • Skills :
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
