About the Job :
Our medical office is looking for a certified Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background working in healthcare, be comfortable communicating in a medical environment and have excellent time-management skills.
This position requires frequent interactions with patients and doctors, so we are seeking someone who approaches each task with diligence and attention to detail.
Responsibilities :
- Answer phones and direct calls to appropriate staff members.
- Make appointments for patients.
- Schedule patient procedures with operating room staff members.
- Distribute medications and supplies to patients' rooms.
- Keep records.
- Be familiar with medical terminology.
- Communicate with nursing staff in carrying out daily office procedures.
- Ship medications.
Job Type : Full-time.
Salary : $13.00 - $18.00 per hour.
