Role : Object Oriented Perl Developer

Location : Austin, TX

Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for " Object Oriented Perl Developer @ Austin, TX " to join in our team of IT professionals in a permanent role.

Responsibilities :

Perl (and or front end) developer role with 10-14 years of experience.

Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex software solutions using MySQL, Perl, Rest API, and Unix Linux Commands.

Oversee the technical aspects of projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to timelines.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and develop effective solutions.

Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of applications through rigorous testing and optimization.

Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and operational procedures.

Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.

Experience in the Cards and Payments domain is a plus

Must Have Skills :

Perl / object oriented

Front end (like AngularJS)

Database (Oracle SQL)

Linux based platforms

Salary and Other Compensation :

The annual salary for this position depends on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
