Description

CRC-A : This is an onsite, patient-facing role. The CRC-A coordinates the conduct of clinical research studies, including the recruitment and retention of clinical trial participants.

Schedules and runs study visits as per protocol. Processes and ships research samples. Maintains study files, completes data entry, corresponds with study sponsors and monitors, attends study monitoring visits, attends and participates in research team meetings.

Prepares and submits regulatory documents to the IRB. Additional duties include regular office duties (e.g. scanning and filing research records, maintaining study supply inventories).

Works closely with members of the research team, including Clinical Research Coordinators, Project Managers, Physicians, Fellows, Pharmacists, and Nurses.

CRC-B : The CRC-B will have demonstrable experience and proficiency in the above-listed duties, and will carry out these duties with limited supervision.

The CRC-B will act as a resource for entry-level team members and assist with the training of new staff.

This position is contingent upon funding.

Hiring range minimum for this position is $44,947.

Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.

Qualifications

  • CRC-A : Bachelor of Science and 1 to 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • CRC-B : Bachelor's Degree with 2-3 years of related experience in research and clinical study methodologies or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Experience in clinical research required. Candidates should possess the ability to delegate work among team members and lead in training activities of new staff.

Qualifications (both CRC-A and B) :

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to navigate multi-layered systems and manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgement and problem-solving skills, and to effectively communicate with personnel from a variety of levels within and outside the organization.
  • Strong PC skills using a range of software programs including Microsoft Word for Window, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe.
  • Due to varying study protocol designs and stringent project deadlines, candidates should have the ability to occasionally work outside of normal workweek hours.
